Leading from the Middle

Caption: Some would say that blogging is a bit like spreading
manure in the fields. Something may or may not grow from it.

Please note that this blog is moving - sometime soon - I
hope - to a new platform. The current platform on which I have
been for 15 years is no longer supported and no one appears
able to deal with the sneaking decrepitude.
In the meantime, beforen I land on a new platform, all 15 years of the blog can be found in the archives via the search function.
The text will look odd and will have glitches, but it will all be
there.
I have been reluctanct to post on the old platform (too much editing, working around, and the result is unattractive), so I have accumulated about a dozen or more items for posting once I get to a stable platform.
