A laptop falling two feet onto a hard floor may result in serious damage. I should know!
I’m back to paper and pencil. I’m writing this on a borrowed computer. Writing with paper and pencil is different than writing on a screen and keyboard. Sans laptop, I pause more often. I look up and around, gather my thoughts, and then return to the blank paper. I am more aware of where I am on then when gazing into a laptop screen. I “see” differently.
Much of my blog for the past five months has been written here, the mezzaine of the Tabu Tea House. One of the muses has often frolicked near where I am seated with tiny cups of tea.
Tik un tā, (anyway, in Latvian) I hope to repair my laptop in the USA in early November, but I will miss the Tabu Tea Room for its exotic teas and inspiration.

Tik un tā.,.. ? Such is life (guessing)
Close:) Tik un ta, means, Anyway, Anyhow, Nevertheless, Regardless, In any case, etc.
I picked up tik un ta from one of my favorite Latvian songs: Rudens: Tik un ta. A version is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=232ExKLWpy8
